That smile she give you is a lie, that happiness she has is false and, when she says “I’m fine.” She wants you to realize that she’s far from “fine”.
Your falling for her lie too..
And you call her a friend, say you know her but obviously you don’t, if you can’t see through the lie.
And she’s going to slip away if no one realizes.
She’s given you all the signs she can to show you how broken she is- are you just so oblivious?
She’s losing ground, losing faith..
She can’t understand how so many people think she’s fine when she feels so ripped up- shredded into thin, wispy ribbons.
